Espoo Finland, UNESCO named global learning city.

As part of our drive in Polkuni to bring the best of Finnish education to Asia, I met resently with senior officials from Espoo city, Sampo Suiko (Deputy Mayor of Education and Cuntural Services), and Dr.Kristiina Erkkila, (Director of Development, Education and Cultural services). The city of Espoo has a great repuatation for success of its education system, from Kindergarten all the way through to life long learning, and is known as one of the best in Finland, so they are doing many things right. Its not possible to copy / paste, what happens in Finland to Asia, but it is possible to find the education solutions that will work in any culture, and bring those to Asia, this is what we are working hard on in Polkuni.
